Q. What time can I check in and check out?
A. Rooms are available from 2pm onwards for check in. Check out is 11am; a later check out can be organised in advance and may be subject to a surcharge.
Q. What Internet access is there in the hotel?
A. WIFI is available throughout the hotel including all bedrooms and meeting rooms and is free of charge.
Q. Do you have a car park?
A. There is ample free parking for all hotel guests including dedicated spaces for disabled guests.
Q. Does the hotel have a lift?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t have a lift but wheelchair access is available and ground floor rooms can be allocated if you have trouble with stairs.
Q: Where is the nearest train station and airport?
A: Hadley Park House Hotel is around 5-10 minutes from Telford Central station and Wellington Station by car. The nearest airport is Birmingham, which can be reached by car in around one hour.
Q. Does the hotel have wheelchair access?
A. There is level access to our reception, Conservatory Restaurant, Lounge and Morning Room. We also have an accessible toilet adjacent to the Mulliner Suite which again has level access being on the ground floor. Dedicated parking spaces are clearly marked.
Q. Do you have any bedrooms for disabled guests?
A: If you are visiting Shropshire on holiday and need a fully-adapted bedroom suitable for wheelchair users or less able guests, we have a fully-equipped ground floor bedroom. The bedroom has been carefully designed to allow wheelchair users adequate space to travel around the room. The wet room has a wide entry door for ease of access and adequate turning space for a standard wheelchair. There are also grab rails and a disabled toilet. The wet room has a level access shower, accessible sinks and an emergency assistance pull cord. Please take a look at our accessible rooms here.
Q. When is the restaurant open?
A. Dorrells Restaurant is open to residents and non-residents for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outside of these times, we serve light bites or traditional afternoon tea in our Lounge and Morning Room. And, if we have good weather, you can always enjoy a bite to eat on the Terrace!
The restaurant is open:
Breakfast: 7.00am – 9.30am (weekdays) and 7.30am – 10am (weekends)
Lunch: 12noon – 2.00pm
Dinner: 6.30pm- 9.30pm
Afternoon Tea: served all day (pre-booking advised)
Light Bites and Snacks: 12 noon – 9pm
Q. Is the restaurant open to non-residents?
A: Non-residents are more than welcome to dine at the hotel. We welcome anyone who is looking for a place to eat in Telford, whether it’s for a morning coffee stop, lunch, traditional afternoon tea or dinner.
Q. Is there a dress code for the restaurant?
A. We don’t enforce a dress code as we want everyone to feel comfortable; guests usually wear smart, casual attire.
Q. Do you cater for special diets?
A. Our food is freshly prepared so we can easily make alternatives but we ask that you contact us in advance, that way our Chef’s are prepared and can easily accommodate you. We can advise on allergens within dishes and make suitable swaps if required. Vegetarian dishes are always available on the menu and we can also provide a gluten free afternoon tea.
Q. Does the hotel have a bar?
A. Yes, the bar is adjacent to our restaurant on the ground floor and serves a wide selection of fine wines, beers, lagers, ciders, spirits and champagne. We also have a dedicated cocktail menu and some drinks are sourced from local producers. The bar is open to non-residents. If you’re lucky and the weather is kind, there is also the option to enjoy a nice cool drink on the outdoor Terrace. Please take a look at our bars here.
Q. Can we supply our own drinks?
A. All drinks are provided on an in-house basis only and we do not allow corkage.
Q. Do you allow dogs?
A. Unfortunately, the hotel does not accept dogs, unless they are to assist blind, visually impaired guests or it is a hearing or alert dog.
Q. Is the hotel inspected by any reputable organisation?
A. We are a four-star hotel, accredited by the AA who make an annual independent assessment of the hotel whereby they visit and stay unannounced and grade the hotel accordingly. Our restaurant is also graded by the AA and we have consistently held an AA Rosette for food quality.
Q. Is the hotel near Ironbridge?
A. Hadley Park House Hotel is only a 20 minute drive from the Ironbridge Museums. We are perfectly located for a visit to this fantastic attraction so we offer exclusive Ironbridge overnight packages which include tickets to either Blists Hill or all 10 museums.
Q: What is there to do locally?

Q. Can I purchase gift vouchers for friends and family?
A. Hadley Park House Hotel Gift vouchers are available (in £10 denominations) and can be used against meals or accommodation. You can find more information on our vouchers page.
