Timings on the Day

There’s lots to think about when organising a wedding, so as the Best Town Wedding Venue in the West Midlands, we’ve had lots of experience on what works well and wanted to share some helpful tips.

To ensure that you get the most from this special day, these suggested timings work well. It ensures that you have plenty of time for those all-important photographs and time to mingle with guests. You’ll also know exactly when people are going to sit down for the reception meal (important if children are involved!).  

For a Reception following a Church Ceremony followed by an Evening Party at Hadley Park House Hotel

12:30 Ceremony
13:15 Photographs followed by journey to Hadley Park House Hotel
14:00 Arrival at Hadley Park House Hotel, photographs, drinks, canapés and time to relax
14:00 Bedroom Check-in now available
15:00 Announcement of reception meal (optional receiving line)
15:15 Bride & Groom announced into the room
15:30 Meal served
17:30 Speeches
18:00 Transfer from Conservatory to Mulliner Suite – a time to mingle with guests
19:00 Arrival of additional guests for evening party, evening entertainment to commence
20:15 Cutting of the cake with first dance
20:30 Evening Buffet served
00:00 Bar closes (for all guests & residents)
00:30 Carriages 

Next Day

09:00 Post wedding breakfast for residents, non-residents are welcome to join (please notify us in advance)
11.00 Guests to have departed their bedrooms

For a Reception following a Civil Ceremony at Hadley Park House Hotel Telford followed by an Evening Party

12:00 Arrival of guests – ( No earlier than 1 hour before your civil ceremony)
13:00 Civil Ceremony
13:30 Photographs, drinks, canapés and time to relax
14:00 Bedroom Check-in now available
15:00 Announcement of reception meal (optional receiving line)
15:15 Bride & Groom announced into the room
15:30 Meal served
17:30 Speeches
